Ernest Stotzel, 95, Jamestown, ND, died Thursday, July 27, 2006 at Hi-Acres Manor, Jamestown, ND
Ernest Stotzel was born August 12, 1910 at Belfield, ND, the son of Charlie and Lucy (Winger) Stotzel. He was raised in Woodworth, ND and attend the rural schools. Following his education, he farmed and ranched in the Woodworth area until his retirement. After retiring, he moved into Woodworth and in 1999, entered the Napoleon Care Center, Napoleon, ND.
Ernest liked to take long walks and once walked from Duluth, MN to Dallas, Texas.
Ernest is survived by a niece, Norma Deering, Yuma, CO.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, Louis and Herman and a sister, Martha.
