Elvin Patzner

Elvin Patzner, 91, Jamestown, North Dakota passed away Monday, November 2, 2015 at Ave Maria Village Nursing Home, Jamestown, ND. Elvin Patzner was born June 10, 1924, in Lake Williams, North Dakota to Joseph and Anne (Walters) Patzner. Elvin attended school in Lake Williams country schools. On November 17, 1946, he married Irene Schumacher in Bismarck, ND. They lived in Robinson, ND and farmed and ranched until they moved to Jamestown in 2005. Irene passed away in 2010. Elvin enjoyed playing cards, dancing and raising horses.
He is survived by two sons, Calvin (Beverly) Patzner, Jamestown, ND, Melvin (Laura) Patzner, Spooner, WI; two sister-in-laws, Lorraine Schumacher and Donna Berg. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife and four brothers, Roy, Carl, Robert and Adam.

Memorial Service: 11:00 AM, Thursday, November 5 at Good Shepherd Chapel, Ave Maria Village Nursing Home, Jamestown, ND with Deacon Ken Votava and Pastor Arlyn Coalter, officiating.
