Elroy Knecht

August 1, 1939 — May 24, 2014

ElRoy Knecht, 74, Cleveland, ND, passed away on Saturday, May 24, 2014 at Sanford Hospital in Bismarck, ND, due to a long fight with cancer.

ElRoy was born on August 1, 1939, the son of Gerhardt and Emma (Speidel) Knecht of Cleveland. ElRoy worked at putting up power lines across the United States and in his spare time he loved fishing and going to the casinos.

ElRoy is survived by a brother, Duane "Pete" Knecht, Cleveland; sister, Shirley Kutz, Bullhead City, AZ and 13 nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Darold and Roland and two sisters, Myrna Hastings and Sharon Knecht.
