Ellen Jo Eppen

Ellen Jo (Erfourth) Eppen, 66, a devout Christian from Jamestown, North Dakota, returned to God on May 26, 2026.

She was born in Lincoln Park, Michigan in 1960 to Ernest H. Erfourth and Margie D. (Hook) Erfourth, the youngest of 6 children. Ellen attended Concordia College in Ann Arbor, Michigan for teaching. She married Alan D. Eppen on May 28, 1983 in Lincoln Park, Michigan.

Ellen was a devoted Christian who cherished her Bible and the teachings of Jesus Christ. She took solace in knowing the Lord was watching over them.

Ellen was preceded in death by brother, Robert Erfouth, father Ernest Erfourth, and mother Margie Erfouth. She is survived by husband, Alan Eppen; children Sarah Eppen, Timothy (Charlotte) Eppen, Becky (Adam) Vonasek, and Daniel Eppen; 6 grandchildren: Hunter, Lena, Brytta, Ajay, Philip, and Helena; 3 brothers Ernest, William, and Lee; and her sister Priscilla.

Funeral services will be on Friday, May 29, 2026 at Concordia Lutheran Church in Jamestown, North Dakota at 2:00pm.
