Elizabeth McBeain, 89, Jamestown, ND, died Saturday, September 6, 2008 at Hi-Acres Manor, Jamestown, ND.

Elizabeth Ann Siegel was born January 31, 1919 at Price, ND, the daughter of John and Pauline (Matz) Siegel. She was raised near Price, ND and attended the rural school. In May of 1938, she married Clifford Nelson McBeain at Mandan, ND and they settled in Kensal, ND. Clifford died in 1947. In 1958, Elizabeth moved to Jamestown, ND where she worked at Woolworth's.

She enjoyed gardening, raising African Violets, cooking and embroidery.

Survivors include 4 children: Dalton (Melanie) McBeain, Roseville, CA; Roland McBeain, Rifle, CO; Rick McBeain, Jamestown, ND; Gwen (Daryl) Fornshell, Lincoln, CA; 27 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; 2 sisters: Monica Morgan, Fruita, CO; Margarite Keist, Fargo, ND and a brother, Ted Siegel, Casper, WY.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 5 sisters, 1 brother and 2 sons, Gary and Merv.

Funeral - 10:00 a.m. Thursday, September 11, 2008 at Lisko Funeral Chapel, Jamestown, ND

Prayer Service - 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 10, 2008 at Lisko Funeral Chapel.

Visitation - 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 10, 2008 at Lisko Funeral Chapel. Jamestown, ND

Interment - Mandan Union Cemetery, Mandan, ND
