Edna Perleberg, 82, Jamestown, North Dakota died Tuesday, May 3, 2005 at her home in rural Jamestown.
Edna Boschee was born November 18, 1922 in Wishek, North Dakota to John and Magdalena (Goeble) Boschee. She received her education in rural Wishek schools. Edna married Walter Perleberg on August 26, 1945 on the Boschee family farm north of Wishek. She was a homemaker and worked at the North Dakota State Hospital until retiring in 1986, after twenty-five years.
She was a member of the Eldridge homemakers, the Birthday club, St. John's Women's Circle at St. John's Lutheran Church. Edna loved to cook, bake, and entertain family and friends.
Edna is survived by her husband, Walter Perleberg, of rural Jamestown; three daughters, Phyllis (Jim) Lees, Jamestown, Gail (Jeff) Falck, Buchanan, ND, and Tamara (Pat) Greff, Fargo, ND; two sons, William (Kim) Perleberg and Bruce (Joan) Perleberg, both of rural Jamestown, ND; 16 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; brother, Gideon (Lillian) Boschee, Wishek, ND; 4 sisters, Irene Kautz, Wishek, ND, Alleen (Myron) Buetow, Jamestown, ND, Lorraine (Wilbur) Wahl, Jamestown, ND, and Alma Decker, Miles City, MT; and two special friends, Hilda Reger and Eva Goldade, Eldridge, ND.
She was preceded in death by her parents; 1 granddaughter; 4 brothers; and 1 sister.
Funeral Service: 2:00PM, Friday, May 6, 2005 at St. John's Lutheran Church, Jamestown with Pastor Doug Opp officiating.
Visitation: Thursday, May 5, 2005 from 1:00PM to 8:00PM at the Eddy Funeral Home, Jamestown.
Prayer Service: 7:00PM, Thursday, May 5, 2005 at the Eddy Funeral Chapel.
Burial: Highland Home Cemetery, Jamestown, ND.
