Edna Anderson

Edna Anderson, 77, Jamestown, ND died Saturday, January 14, 2006 at Central Dakota Village, Jamestown, ND. Edna Fandrich was born February 24, 1928, in Hazen, ND to William and Edna (Mettler) Fandrich. Edna was raised in Hazen, ND. On May 12, 1961, she married Leonard Anderson. Edna worked for the State Hospital as an aide and then was employed at Ebertz Dry Cleaners. Edna and Leonard owned and operated various bars over the years, including those in Windsor, Dickey, Jud, Carson, Gackle and Ypsilanti. Edna and Leonard retired in Jamestown in 1995. She entered Central Dakota Village Nursing Home in June 20, 2002.

She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. Edna enjoyed crocheting, embroidering and various other crafts.

She is survived by, one daughter, Betty (LeRoy) Hehr, Fredonia, ND; three grandchildren, Tim Hehr, Tempe, AZ, Chad Hehr, West Fargo, ND and Mark Hehr, Buchanan, ND; seven step grandchildren, six step children, Gary (Jean), Pam (Bob), Judy (Duane), Connie, Lucille, Edith and one brother, Reinhold Fandrich, Bismarck, ND.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Art Fandrich.

Funeral Service: 1:00 PM, Wednesday, January 18, 2006 at the Eddy Funeral Chapel with Pastor JoAnne Moeller officiating.

Visitation: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Tuesday, January 17, 2006 at the Eddy Funeral Home, Jamestown.

Burial: Ypsilanti Cemetery, Ypsilanti, North Dakota.
