Edgar Tardif

Edgar Tardif, 52, Jamestown, North Dakota died Monday, October 25, 2010 at his home.

Edgar was born December 16, 1957 in Long Beach, California to Edgar and Janice (Brockman) Tardif. Edgar attended and graduated from Centerville High School in Centerville, South Dakota. He served in the U.S. Air Force from January to June 1977. In 1990 Edgar moved to Jamestown. He married Mary Jo Copenhaver on November 18, 1994 in Jamestown. Edgar worked for the Stutsman County Road Department, C.H. Carpenter and Lumber Company, Buffalo City Grille and the Wonder Bar.

Edgar is survived by his wife, Mary Jo \""M.J.\"" Tardif, Jamestown; three children, Nicholas and Hailey Tardif, Jamestown and Ashley Maier, Sioux Falls, SD; father and step-mother, Edgar (Cheryl) Tardif, Lakewood, CA; mother and step-father, Janice Marie (Cal) Henke, Sioux Falls, SD; one sister, Collette (Troy) Hartman, Laurel, NE; and several nieces & nephews.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
