Eddie Martwick, 80, Edgeley, ND, died Friday, January 6, 2006 at St. Rose Care Center, LaMoure, ND.
Eddie Loren Martwick was born January 3, 1926 on the family farm in McHenry County near Balfour, ND. He was raised on the family farm and attended school in Balfour. After his schooling he worked on the family farm until joining the United States Marine Corp in 1946. After his discharge in 1947, he returned to Balfour where he worked on the family farm until 1959 when he moved to Edgeley, ND. He lived in Edgeley until 1968 when he moved to Bismarck, ND and worked for Lunn Construction. In 1988, he retired and moved back to Edgeley, ND where he lived until entering St. Rose Care Center, LaMoure, ND.
Survivors include 3 brothers: Archie, Lisbon, ND; Everett, McClusky, ND; Francis, Balfour, ND and a sister, Delores (Joe) Lemer, Drake, ND.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 sisters and 3 brothers.
Funeral - 1:00 p.m. Monday, January 9, 2006 at Lisko Funeral Chapel, Edgeley, ND with Reverend Alan Eppen officiating.
Visitation - 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Sunday, January 9, 2006 and 1 hour prior to services at Lisko Funeral Chapel, Edgeley on Monday.
Interment - Mount Hope Cemetery, Edgeley, ND
