Dumitru Bostan

Dumitru Bostan, 45, Jamestown, ND passed away in his home on Friday, July 24, 2026.

He was born July 23, 1981 in Russia to Ivan Nickolaevich Bostan and Lubov Dmitrievna Bostan. Dumitru and his family later moved to Moldova. He traveled to the United States in 2003 to continue training in the agricultural field.

Dumitru married Terri Rosemore on February 10, 2005 in Drochia, Moldova. They were together 17 years and had two beautiful daughters, Anya and Innessa. He was employed for many years with Glinz Farms and Cavendish.

Dumitru was an avid UFC and NHL Washington Capitals fan. He loved to grill for his family and friends; spending evenings riding his bike along the trails of the Jamestown Reservoir. He took pride in both of his daughter’s accomplishments and enjoyed their movie nights.

He is survived by his children: Anya Bostan and Innessa Bostan, both Jamestown, ND; parents: Ivan and Lubov Bostan, Drochia, Moldova; sister: Angelina Bostan (Igor Yusupov) and niece Valeria Yusupov, Scottsdale, AZ.

A Panikhida (Eastern Orthodox Memorial Service) was held on Tuesday, July 28 at Eddy Funeral Home. Dumitru was laid to rest in the Eldridge Cemetery. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 29 at 2pm at Hidden River Acres, Jamestown.
