Duane Elmer Streifel

Duane, known to friends and family as "Spud", was born Aug. 5 , 1960 and passed away Sept. 8, 2025 at Sanford Medical Center, Fargo, N.D.

Spud grew up in Jamestown where he attended and graduated.

Spud had a distinguished career as an electrician. He worked alongside his dad, Elmer for a few years along with a couple other companies before joining Triad Electric and Controls, Baton Rouge, La where he worked for over 30 years before retiring in 2022.

Spud is survived by his loving wife, Vicki , daughter Chandra (Wendell) Martin, granddaughter Audia Lynn, grandson Cylar (Clarissa), Mother-in-law Patsy Darby, brother-in-law Rick(Amy) Darby, sisters Cheryl (Phil) Galon, Judy (Steve) Reller and Jeana (Rod) Mack.

Spud enjoyed fishing, hunting, golfing, grilling, motorcycles and "garage time" with friends and family.

Spud's kindness, generosity and sense of humor touched everyone who knew him. His friends and family remember him as a man of great integrity and warmth.

Anecdotes from friends and loved ones capture his love of life and positive impact he had on those around him.

Memorial Information: A "Celebration of Life" will be held at a later date for all to attend in Spud's honor.
