Duane Lee Schwalk, 55, Ogden, Utah, formerly of the Jamestown area, died Sunday, May 8, 2005 at the Ogden Hospital.
Duane was born on February 23, 1950 in Kensal, North Dakota the son of Tony and Hazel (Troseth) Schwalk. He graduated from Kensal High School and was in the US Army serving time in Vietnam. He farmed in the Kensal area and later moved to Minot where he worked various jobs. He moved to Ogden in 2000.
Duane is survived by a son, Brian (Kelly) Schwalk, Rapid City, SD, one grandson, Brandon, a brother, Jim (Marty) Schwalk, Columbia Falls, MT, a sister, Irene Page, Jamestown and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Don and his grandparents.
Memorial Service: 1:30 PM, Friday, May 27, 2005 at the Eddy Funeral Chapel with Rev. Bryce Tahran officiating.
No visitation is scheduled.
Burial: Calvary Cemetery, Jamestown, North Dakota.
