Dodge Guizzetti, 94, Jamestown, North Dakota, passed away on Thursday May 8 ,2008 at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Fargo ND.
Dodge was born March 27, 1914 in Enterprise Iowa, He was one of ten children of Remegio and Emma Guizzetti. The family moved to Cleveland, ND in 1928 and were farmers near Cleveland.
Dodge enlisted in the US Army on March 3, 1942 and was sent to Europe. He was taken as a prisoner of war during the Battle of the Bulge on December 18, 1944. He was set free the following June and was discharged on October 11, 1945.
Dodge spent all of his life in the Cleveland/Jamestown area, as a farmer.
Dodge is survived by a son Chad of Sayre OK; two sisters, Mary Bruns of Cherry Hill, NJ, and Auurelia Koreis of Auburn ,WA; two brothers, Joseph in Puyallup,WA and Aldo in Newark, DE.
Funeral Mass: 10:00 AM, Tuesday, May 13, 2008 at the Eddy Funeral Chapel in Jamestown, ND.
Visitation: 1:00 to 8:00 PM, Monday, May 12, 2008 at the Eddy Funeral Home.
Burial: Calvary Cemetery, Jamestown, ND.
