DeAnna Simmons

Deanna Mae Simmons, age 80, passed away peacefully on July 6, 2025. Deanna touched countless lives with her kindness, warmth, generosity, and unwavering strength.

Born on August 1, 1944, in Anaconda, Montana, Deanna grew up with a deep love for family, nature, and life’s simple joys. She carried those values with her throughout her life, creating a home that was always welcoming, comforting, and full of laughter.

She worked many years at High Acres Nursing Home and the Jamestown Hospital. Deanna also gave her time to the 20 Below Club and volunteered at her daughter’s school. She was involved in countless acts of service – being a Girl Scout leader and always lending a helping hand to anyone in need.

The love of her life, Charles Simmons, continues on, holding her memory close and living out the values they shared.

She is survived by her only child, Amy Austin; her grandchildren: Jason Espinosa, Josiah Espinosa, Raul Wolf IV, and SeaAira Wolf; her brother, Donald Farthing, Jr.; and many nieces and nephews.

Deanna was preceded in death by her father, Donald Farthing; her mother, Eunice Farthing; her grandson, Matthew Simmons; her brother, Darold Farthing; her niece, Tina Farthing; and her nephews, Dave Farthing and Ronald Farthing.

A celebration of Deanna’s life will be held July 25, 2025 at 1:00 p.m., at Eddy Funeral Home, with a lunch following at 1317 5th St. NE, Jamestown where friends and family are invited to gather, share memories, and honor a life beautifully lived.

Deanna will be deeply missed but forever remembered in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
