Daniel Griffin

Daniel N. Griffin, 77, Jamestown, ND died Thursday, April 11, 2013 at Eventide at Hi-Acres Manor Nursing Home, Jamestown, ND. Daniel was born January 7, 1936 in Jamestown, ND to Earl A. and Mae (Hansen) Griffin. He attended and graduated from Jamestown High School in 1953. Daniel also attended NDSU for two years. He served in the U.S. Army from 1954-1956 during the Korean conflict. Daniel worked construction and as a hunting guide. Dan was a wonderful uncle who loved reading, hunting and playing cards. He is survived by nephews, Jim (Lois) Rick, Minot, ND, John (Eileen) Rick, Cheyenne, ND, Ron (Elizabeth) Rick, Jamestown, ND; nieces, Diane White, Cottonwood, CA, Nancy (Auggie) Mueller, Minot, ND, Jean (Tim) Griffin, Moorhead, MN, Julie Schrade and Judy (Dave) Seher, both of Jamestown, ND; special friend, Arlane Kennison, Phoenix, AZ. He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers, Lloyd, Marvin, Ken, Harold, Bill and one sister, Geneva Rick.
