Colette Marie Balzer

Colette Balzer, 53, Fargo, North Dakota, died Monday, March 17, 2008 at Innovis Health Center in Fargo.

Colette Marie Romsdal was born October 18, 1954 in Oakes, North Dakota, the daughter of John W. and Pat (Brummund) Romsdal. She lived with her family in Aberdeen, SD, Fergus Falls and Moorhead, MN and they later moved to Bismarck where Colette attended and graduated from Bismarck High School in 1973. She married Richard Balzer in Bismarck. She later moved to Fargo where her home has been since. Colette enjoyed crocheting.

Colette is survived by a son, Robert Balzer, and a daughter, Lisa Balzer, both of Bismarck, ND; her mother, Pat Romsdal, Mesa, AZ; four grandchildren; three brothers, Fran Romsdal and Robert (Lori) Romsdal, both of Jamestown, J. Stuart (Kim) Romsdal, Casselton, ND and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father and a son, Scott.

Memorial Service: 3:00 PM, Friday, March 21, 2008 at the Eddy Funeral Chapel, Jamestown, with Pastor Steve Berntson officiating.

No visitation is scheduled.

Burial at a later date: Glover Cemetery, Oakes, North Dakota.
