Carolyn M. Miemietz, 82, of Jamestown, ND passed away Sunday, September 7, 2025 at SMP Health-Ave Maria under JRMC Hospice care.

Carolyn Marie Clemens was born January 19, 1943 at Trinity Hospital in Jamestown, ND, the daughter of William and Agnes (Glowach) Clemens.

Carolyn married Duane “Duke” Miemietz on January 20, 1961 and had four children, Jeffrey, Donald, Scott and Dawn.

Carolyn was a homemaker and also had a ceramic shop, CJ’s Ceramics, for 15 years which was her job also at her home. She took great pride in caring for her home, husband and children and later in life her grandchildren.

Carolyn is survived by her husband, Duke; daughter Dawn (Dennis) Krawczyk with grandchildren, Dustin, Brandon and Carissa; brothers William “Sonny” (Kathy), Greely, CO, Terry (Susan), Sheridan, WY; sister-in-law, Judy Clemens, Sheridan, WY. She was preceded in death by her parents; sons Scott in infancy, Jeffrey and Donald; brothers Rodney and Kenneth.

Celebration of Life Service will be 11:00 AM, Friday, September 12, 2025 at Concordia Lutheran Church, Jamestown, ND with Pastor Tom Eckstein officiating. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Jamestown, ND.
