Caroline (Carrie) Heinle, 98, Waterford Manor, Brooklyn Park, Minnesota; formerly of Jamestown, ND, went to be with the Lord on Monday, January 21, 2013 at North Memorial Hospital in Robbinsdale, MN.
Caroline was born November 10, 1914 at Anamoose ND to Gustav and Katharina Gienger.
She and Adolph Heinle were married November 13th, 1932 at Lincoln Valley, ND. They made their home at Drake, ND for one year and then moved to a farm near Denhoff, ND. They farmed until 1955, when they moved to Lincoln Valley and managed a general store. In 1958 they moved to Jamestown where she managed the store at the State Hospital until she retired in 1983. She had been active in her church and had been a member of Temple Baptist Church for years, She had been living in her own home until March of 2012 when she fell and went in a nursing home. In August she moved to Waterford Manor assisted living in Brooklyn Park, Mn. She fell on January 20 and died January 2l, due to complications of the fall, at North Memorial Hospital in Robbinsdale.
Surviving are five children: Darlene Tingle, Glorianne (Merle) Zumbaum, Elizabeth Johnson all of Minneapolis, MN, Roger (Marlene) Heinle, San Tan Valley, AZ and Timothy (Cheryl) Heinle, Helena, MT; 17 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great-grandchildren, one sister, Kathryn Helm, Beulah, ND; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband; two sisters; four brothers; son-in-law, Larry Tingle and one great grandson.
