Carol M. Gabrielson

Carol M. Gabrielson, 80, Jamestown, ND died Friday, April 18, 2014 at Sanford Health in Bismarck, ND.

Carol Marie Jacobs was born July 2, 1933 in Jamestown, the daughter of Hayden and Gladyce (Harrington) Jacobs. She grew and attended school in Jamestown, graduating from Jamestown High School in 1951. She moved to Spokane, WA where she worked for NW Bell, met and married Marvin D, Curtis in 1954. She had two children, Gregory M. Curtis and Dayle M. Curtis. She moved back to Jamestown, ND where she worked for Northwestern Bell for 30 years. She married Earl Gabrielson November 5, 1977.

Carol was a member of Atonement Lutheran Church, Jamestown; an active member of the American Legion Auxilary, VFW Auxiliary, Women's Pool Association, and Past President of American Legion Auxiliary C.W.A. She was a loving, supportive and devoted daughter, mother, and wife. She loved all her family unconditionally, she will be greatly missed.

Carol is survived by two children, Gregory Curtis, and Dayle Gomez, (Tony Rincker), both of Jamestown; her sister, Patricia Rohde, Spokan, WA; three grandchildren, Baron Curtis, Jamestown, Mercedes Curtis, Moorhead, MN and Brittnay Gomez, Jamestown; Earl's children, Brad (Polly) Gabrielson, Barry (Peggy) Gabrielson, and Amy Olson (Jason Dobson) all of Jamestown; six step grandchildren, Amber (Mark) Docktor, Tyler Gabrielson, Zachary Gabrielson, Kayla (Abe) Allen and Taylor and Ryan Olson.

She was preceded in death by her parents; both husbands; one brother, Francis Jacobs.
