Bob Otto

Eugene ""Bob"" Otto, 62, Jamestown, North Dakota died Thursday, May 12, 2005 at Hi-Acres Manor Nursing Center in Jamestown.

Bob was born April 12, 1943 in Robinson, North Dakota the son of Clifford and Florence (Siebert ) Otto. He grew up near Robinson on the family farm. He moved with his family to Jamestown where he graduated from Jamestown High School. On June 3, 1961 Bob married Connie Loose in Jamestown. He worked at the North Dakota State Hospital for a short time before attending Bismarck Junior College. They returned to Jamestown and in 1979 he began to work for Western Gear. He returned to work as a tech as the ND State Hospital in 1983 and in 1991 retired due to his health.

Bob enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening.

Bob is survived by his wife, Connie and his mother, Florence, both of Jamestown; five children, Darren, Sparta, WI, Brian (Janean), Buchanan, ND, Billy, Jamestown, Tina Otto (Randy Tompkins), Medina, ND and Corey, Jamestown; nine grandchildren; two sisters, Sandra Klose, Kindred, ND and Sharon (Larry) Gutzwiller, Jamestown, ND and two brothers, Terry (Ann) Otto, Pittsboro, NC and Clifford Otto, Jr., Misawa, Japan.

He was preceded in death by his father, a son in infancy and grandparents.

Memorial Service: 2:00 PM, Monday, May 16, 2005 at the Eddy Funeral Chapel with Rev. Bryce Tahran officiating.

No visitation is scheduled.

Burial: Highland Home Cemetery, Jamestown, North Dakota.
