Bernard Wojick

Bernard E. "Bernie" Wojick, 68, Jamestown, ND died Thursday, March 20, 2014 at Jamestown Regional Medical Center.

Bernie was born February 12, 1946 in Jamestown, the son of Alfred and Agnes (Koushkouski) Wojick. He attended Wimbledon schools, graduating from Wimbledon High School in 1964 and attended Mayville State College. On March 14, 1966 he entered the US Marine Corps and served during the Vietnam conflict. He was honorably discharged on March 13, 1968 from Camp Pendleton, CA.

Bernie worked at Wedgecor from 1978-1997 and was a dispatcher for Sunward Trucking. He was currently a truck driver for Border States Paving. He was also co-owner of the Office Bar from 1986 until his death.

Bernie's hobbies included bowling, hunting and fishing. He was a member of the Buffalo City Gun Club.

Bernie is survived by his life companion, Bobbi Magnuson, Jamestown and two special cousins, Larry Johnson, Las Vegas, NV and J.T. Donegan, Denver, CO.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother and one sister.
