Berdella V. Moser

Berdella Verna Moser, 76, Medina, ND, died Thursday, August 25, 2011 at her home in Medina.

Berdella Dewald was born April 7, 1935 in Logan County, southwest of Streeter, ND, the daughter of Adolph and Verna (Wentz) Dewald. She grew up southwest of Streeter on the family farm and attended country schools. On October 15, 1954 Berdella married Leon Moser at the Lutheran church in Streeter. They lived in Terry and Forsythe, MT and Mitchell, NE before moving back to Medina to raise their family. They have made their home in Medina ever since.

Berdella enjoyed gardening, sewing, crocheting, and cross-stitching. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and grandchildren. She was a member of the Emmanuel United Methodist Church in Medina.

Berdella is survived by her husband, Leon of Medina; one son, Kenneth (Deb) Moser, Detroit Lakes, MN; two daughters, Candus (Ronald) Mittleider, Tappen, ND and Sharon (Doug) Dvorak, Spring Hill, KS; 9 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Marlious Kinzler, Jamestown.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Kevin in May 2011; and one sister.
