Audrey Kaiser

Audrey Kaiser, 85, Buchanan, ND died Saturday, August 6, 2011 at Jamestown Regional Medical Center, Jamestown, ND.

Audrey Klose was born January 21, 1926, on the family farm south of Jamestown, the daughter of August and Katherine (Reis) Klose, Jr. She moved with her parents to a farm in the Parkhurst Area, south of Buchanan. Audrey attended the Parkhurst School in Woodbury Township and then moved to the Fried, ND area and finished elementary school at the Fried Township School. On June 30, 1943, she married Louis Kaiser at Sacred Heart Catholic Church at Fried. They lived with Louis' family on the Kaiser farm until purchasing a farm ½ mile from the Kaiser farm in 1945. Louis died on October 14, 1983 and Audrey remained on the farm.

Audrey was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, then St. James Basilica, and the Jamestown VFW Auxiliary.

She is survived by her children, Theresa (Ron) Risner, Alvada, OH, Patricia (Jerry) Scholz, Jamestown, Kathy (Jerry) Hastings, Jamestown, Jan (Leo) Neva, Marshaltown, IA, Bob (Jerilyn), Jamestown, James (Wendy), Jamestown, Judith (Floyd) Kaiser, Tucson, AZ; 14 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; three daughters-in-law, Pat Kaiser, Buchanan, ND, Norma Kaiser, Jamestown, and Donna Kaiser, Jamestown; one sister, Margaret Weatherly, Jamestown; one brother, Gerald Klose, Hacienda Heights, CA; and two sisters-in-law, Alvina Klose, Jamestown and Betty Klose, Farmington, MN.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; three sons, Doug, Tom and Jack; seven brothers; three sisters; and one granddaughter.

Eucharist of Christian Burial: 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, August 9, 2011 at St. James Basilica, Jamestown.

Visitation: 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m., Monday, August 8, 2011 at Williams-Lisko Funeral Chapel, Jamestown.

Prayer Service : 7:00 p.m., Monday, August 8, 2011 at Prairie Chapel, Sunset Memorial Gardens, Jamestown.

Interment: Sacred Heart Cemetery, Fried, ND.
