Arlene Trautman

Arlene (Johnson) Trautman, 90, Fergus Falls, MN, formerly of Jamestown, ND peacefully passed away on February 5, 2014 at Lake Region Health Care in Fergus Falls.

Arlene was born October 29, 1923 to Henry and Dorothea (Turner) Johnson in Jamestown, where she grew up and attended Jamestown High School. She married Al Trautman on December 27, 1948 in Jamestown. Together Al and Arlene had one daughter, Randee Rae. Arlene was a fulltime wife and mother until 1965 when she started working part-time in the office at her husband's store, Western Auto Supply Co. She retired in 1985 along with her husband.

Arlene and Al moved to Fergus Falls, MN in 2002 to be closer to their daughter, son-in-law and granddaughter. Al passed away January 1, 2003.

She is survived by her daughter, Randee Remer and her husband, Mark, Fergus Falls; one granddaughter, Logan Giefer and her husband, Zach; two sisters, Lorraine Bennett and Dorothy Gums; and one brother, Gordon Johnson, all of Jamestown.

She was preceded in death by her parents, seven brothers, Robert, John, William, James, Eugene, Lyle and Charles, and two sisters, JoAnn Nelson and Betty Madcke.
