In loving memory of Annette Mary Leppert

Annette was born in Rochester, New York on the 6th of November, 1957 to Thomas and Marguerite Hempel, the 6th of ten children. She grew up on farms near Wallkill and Port Byron and graduated from high school in Port Byron. In 1979 she moved with her family to a farm near Eldridge, Missouri where she met Daniel Leppert. They were married on April 16, 1994. She then moved with her husband to his family near Dickey, North Dakota where she lived for 31 years. Annette loved sewing, gardening, and raising her four children on the farm.

Annette passed away peacefully in her home in the early hours of August 13, 2025. She is survived by her husband Daniel Leppert; children Cecilia, Danette, Justin, and Paula Leppert; and her siblings Jacinta (Sam) Colombo, Christopher (Cyndie) Hempel, Catherine (Randy) Applebee, Clatus (Dorothy) Hempel, Mary (Randall) Howard, Albert Hempel, and Herman (Elizabeth) Hempel. She was preceded in death by her parents Thomas and Marguerite Hempel, infant son Christopher and brothers Matthew and Daniel Hempel.

Graveside service will be 11:00 AM, Saturday, August 16, 2025 at Rogate Lutheran Cemetery, Berlin, ND.
