Anna Mickelson

Anna Mickelson, 89, Edgeley, ND died at Central Dakota Village, Jamestown on Saturday, December 17, 2005.
Anna Pfaff was born January 21, 1916 on the family farm near Jud, ND the daughter of Henry and Lentina (Fode) Pfaff. She was educated in the Bluebird Township school near Jud and worked with her family on the farm and as a housekeeper and baby sitter for other families near her home.
Anna married Johnnie Mickelson on August 23, 1940 at Edgeley, ND. Following their marriage they purchased a farm south of Jud where they farmed until 1963. Their son Jerry took over operation of the farm and they moved into Edgeley. Johnnie died in 1999 and Anna continued to live in her home in Edgeley until she became a resident of Central Dakota Village in April, 2005.
Funeral Service: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, December 21, 2005 at Wesley United Methodist Church, Edgeley, ND with Reverend Russ Whaley officiating.
Visitation: 10:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Lisko Funeral Chapel, Edgeley and 1 hour prior to services at the church on Wednesday.
Interment: Mount Hope Cemetery, Edgeley, ND.
