Alvin Alderman

Alvin Alderman, Wimbledon, ND, passed away at his home Thursday morning, October 22, 2026.

Alvin was born January 23, 1949, in Fargo, ND and was the son of John and Ruth (Kuhlmann) Alderman. He attended and graduated from North Central High School in 1967, and joined the Army National Guard in October of that year. Al served until October of 1973 and was united in marriage to Karen Peterson on November 23, 1974 in Wimbledon. They made their home on a farm south of Wimbledon and he worked for Peavey Elevator, later Conagra. Al was a member of the Wimbledon American Legion for many years and also enjoyed boating, fishing, hunting, and camping.

Al is survived by his wife, Karen Alderman; son, Thomas (Tina) Alderman; grandchildren, Tiffany, Trace, Taryn, and Trevor; and 14 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Memorial Service – 1:00 p.m., Thursday, November 5, 2026 at Eddy Funeral Home, Jamestown, with Wayne Quam officiating.
