Alice Kooker, 54, Medina, ND, died Thursday, November 6, 2008 at Jamestown Hospital, Jamestown, ND.

Alice Marie Landscoot was born March 4, 1954 in Grand Rapids, MN, the daughter of Morris and Mary Lehe (Brady) Landscoot. At six years of age, she moved with her family to Jamestown, ND, where she attended school, graduating from Jamestown High School in 1972. She graduated from the North Dakota State School of Science in 1973 and then returned to Jamestown where she worked for Bagan's Real Estate. On June 8, 1974, she married David Kooker in Jamestown, ND and they moved to Linton, ND. In 1978, they returned to Jamestown where she worked for several businesses in town including Ottmar and Pope and attorneys Dave Nething and Joe Larson for 23 years. In 1981, they moved to Medina, ND.

Alice was a member of English Lutheran Church in Medina, ND. She enjoyed spending time with her family, fishing, gardening, reading and playing cards.

Survivors include her husband, David, Medina, ND; 2 daughters: Angela (Shannon) Hanson, Anchorage, AK; Stephanie Kooker, Bismarck, ND; a granddaughter, Brynn Hanson, Anchorage, AK; 5 siblings: Lloyd (Bobbie) Landscoot, Jamestown, ND; Mike (Penny) Landscoot, Jamestown, ND; Peggy (Bob) Runck, Casselton, ND; Tammy Gumke, Jamestown, ND; Randy Landscoot, Jamestown, ND and her mother-in-law, Betty Kooker, Jamestown, ND.

She was preceded in death by her father, mother, father-in-law and step-father.

Memorial Service - 2:00 p.m. Monday, November 10, 2008 at English Lutheran Church, Medina, ND

Prayer Service - 7:00 p.m. Sunday, November 9, 2008 at Lisko Funeral Chapel, Jamestown, ND

Visitation - Noon to 7:00 p.m. Sunday, November 9, 2008 at Lisko Funeral Chapel, Jamestown, ND and 1 hour prior to services at the church on Monday.
